Pursuant to an agreement between Indiana Virtual School and its authorizer, Daleville Community Schools, effective June 19, 2019, Indiana Virtual School is no longer accepting applications or enrolling new students. The school will terminate operations September 17, 2019.

Indiana Virtual School (INVS) is Indiana's premier public middle & high school for online education. Partnered with Florida Virtual School as our major curriculum provider, INVS offers a nationally recognized e-Learning model which is the recipient of numerous awards.

Course Offerings

INVS offers more than 100 courses - including core subjects, world languages, electives, honors, and 15 Advanced Placement courses. INVS courses are accepted for credit and are transferable. Indiana Virtual School is approved by the Indiana Department of Education, accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools, and courses are NCAA approved.

All INVS teachers possess a valid Indiana teaching certificate and are certified specifically in the subject they teach. Each teacher completes a 30-hour training course, Teaching Online 101, which provides an understanding of online teaching, with five modules of content, based on best practices of 14 years of virtual teaching. Our teachers are dedicated to helping students understand the powerful connections that encompass reading, studying and test taking.

Student Enrollment

Enrollment is open to all students who reside in Indiana.


Indiana students who enroll in INVS full time may take up to 12 credits per year tuition free. Part time students may enroll on a pay-per-class tuition basis.
