Indiana Virtual School [Home]

Pursuant to an agreement between Indiana Virtual School and its authorizer, Daleville Community Schools, effective June 19, 2019, Indiana Virtual School is no longer accepting applications or enrolling new students. The school will terminate operations September 17, 2019.

If you are exploring your online school options, you may wish to consider applying to Indiana Virtual School's sister institution, Indiana Virtual Pathways Academy. It is a public alternative school that focuses on assisting students who may not have found success in traditional brick and mortar schools. You may visit for information and register to receive an enrollment link.

Acceptance of Expelled and At-Risk Students

Indiana Virtual School is available as an alternative education program for certain students who have been expelled or are at risk for expulsion from other public schools.

Applications for expelled or at-risk students will be considered on a case-by-case basis. Indiana Virtual School reserves the right to deny admittance depending on any facts and circumstances surrounding the expulsion. All admissions will be subject to student capacity restrictions (i.e., seat availability).

Students who have been expelled from an Indiana public school and who subsequently attempt to enroll in Indiana Virtual School without disclosing such expulsion may be denied access to INVS.

For more information on this policy, please contact the Indiana Virtual School Director at 317-581-5355.
